Les Voix de la Scène Competition

For a singer, I do not actually like the limelight! So, standing on the stage for Les Voix de la Scène [Voices of the Stage] competition was a big step for me. The responsibility of giving your best whilst under pressure, in front of so many people and exposing yourself both emotionally and physically. It is a responsibility to you, the public, and to yourself as an artist. But as artists, we “Walk the Line”, never quite knowing where it might lead!

That said, the importance of sharing music and feelings far out ways any potential negatives. The exhilaration from a positive performance with such amazing feedback from all of you makes it all worthwhile. And of course, winning was the icing on the cake and beyond my greatest expectations.

All, you will be able to see the video of my original song “Walk the Line”, first heard during Les Voix De La Scène singing competition back in 2016. Many, many thanks to Paul Humphreys for our collaboration and his composition of the music on this song, his music is my inspiration!! It is also thanks, in part, to Paul that I have pushed forward in my musical journey over the last few years to self-produce my first official album.

Which means, I am very happy to announce that “Walk the Line” is now included on my first official album Warrior Within which was released 18th September 2023.
